New third-person shooter game Zombie Army 4: Dead War has a surprising feature that may scare the socks off of players. The list of terrifying zombie games is long, with games such as State of Decay 2 and Dying Light sending shivers down gamers' spines, and Zombie Army 4 is trying its best to join them.

The reviews of Zombie Army 4 confirm that the game is a huge amount of fun to play, but the fun doesn't stop when players hit the pause button. When players pause the PS4 version of the game, a scary voice message will be played through the DualShock 4's speakers.

In a video of the audio, the voice can be heard loudly whispering "play with me." The Rebellion team has created a few different messages that play, such as another version of "play with me" and one voice that says "come back." Anyone who pauses the game for a few minutes will probably have to mute the TV so that they don't accidentally scare anyone else in the house.

The feature is surprising because players don't expect it and that Zombie Army 4 uses a forgotten DualShock 4 feature. Few games use the controller's audio feature and when they do, it's not in ways that are as good as this. The speaker is another feature, such as the DualShock 4's touchpad, that don't get used much as gamers and developers mostly use the sticks and the face buttons for all gameplay.

Sony has put a huge amount of work into the DualShock 4 to make it so much better than it was when the PS4 has launched. The company has released several new DualShock 4 controllers in different colors and while this isn't as much customization as the Xbox Design Lab, it is much cooler than the normal black version.

It has also released new parts for the DualShock 4. One of these is the back button attachment which gives gamers more options with how they control their games. Some may be disappointed that this has only become available six years after the DualShock 4 released, but many are enjoying it.

There will likely be more exciting features on the PS5 controller, the DualShock 5. Sony has confirmed that the controller will be backward compatible with the PS4, something which fans seem very happy about. More announcements about the controller will probably be made at the rumored PS5 reveal event.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
