Some of the new Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are complex feats of imagination that test a player's mastery of the game's new abilities and physics interactions. Others, like Yomizuk Shrine, don't exactly require an engineering degree to complete. Getting there, though, is another question.

As a Rauru's Blessing Shrine, the challenge of Yomizuk Shrine is found outside. But there's no green crystal to transport or time trial to complete here – instead, Tears of the Kingdom players only need to watch the rise and fall of the tides and get through a flooded cave without drowning.

Yomizuk Shrine Location

Yomizuk Shrine is located within the Lanayru area of Hyrule, specifically inside Tarm Point Cave. Like some other Rauru's Blessing shrines in the area, Yomizuk Shrine simply requires players to traverse a flooded cave, reach the shore, and enter.

Head to the coordinates (4474, -0818, 0037) to find the entrance to Tarm Point Cave. This cave is slightly different than other flooded channels in Hyrule, as its waters will rise and fall rhythmically, covering and uncovering places for Link to stand on every few seconds.

There are three approaches to take when it comes to how to get through Tarm Point Cave. The first method players could use to reach Yomizuk Shrine at the end is to simply swim there. There are a lot of places for Link to stand on, and with a few pieces of the Zora armor, this can be significantly faster than either of the other methods.

Players can also build a boat with parts and Zonai devices found around the cave, but the rising and falling waters and obstacles that are only revealed at low tide make it hard to get through. The easiest way to get through Tarm Point Cave is to use a weapon that's capable of forming ice platforms in the water. Fuse an Ice Lizalfos Horn to a stick, or a sapphire to a Magic Rod, for an easy way to walk across the water.

Once players reach the end of the cave, there's not much else to do except walk in, take the treasure, and receive Rauru's Blessing (the Light of Blessing). It's not the most complex challenge in the world, but the rising and falling tides can make players think twice about the approach they want to take.

But don't get through the cave too quickly because there's an important stop players should make – the Bubbulfrog. About halfway into the Tarm Point Cave players will notice a slightly hidden offshoot area. Cut through this area and step onto the shore to see a Bubbulfrog on the wall. Aim at its head with an arrow before it can bubble blast Link, let fly, then collect the Bubbul Gem before heading over to Yomizuk Shrine. As with many Shrines underground, the easiest way to leave Yomizuk Shrine's area is to Ascend through the ceiling after exiting.

What's In The Yomizuk Shrine Chest?

There's an item of quite significant value in the Yomizuk Shrine Chest: a Diamond which is worth 500 Rupees, is used for upgrades, and can serve as an exceedingly powerful Fuse attachment for weapons. After collecting this material – and after internally debating whether it's morally correct, and economically sustainable, to duplicate this valuable gem – head over to the Shrine's end to get a Light of Blessing.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
