After completing The Closed Door, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players will finally get a chance to head down to the surface and check out the Kingdom of Hyrule. Once players arrive there, they'll be directed toward an area called Lookout Landing, where an old friend is waiting to assist Link with his quest to find Princess Zelda.

Despite being one of the earlier main story quests, To the Kingdom of Hyrule requires players to cover a fair old distance and also has them pass by some fairly dangerous territories. With this in mind, players may want to consider taming a horse or some other kind of mount to allow them to reach their destination quickly and in one piece.

When Tears of the Kingdom players first dive down from the Great Sky Island, they'll find themselves in the sprawling Hyrule Field area. There are plenty of things to see and do here, with shrines and ruins aplenty, but those who are keen to get on with the main quest and rescue Princess Zelda should begin making their way north toward Lookout Landing. The settlement will be marked on their map, making it relatively easy to find. For those having trouble though, the coordinates for Lookout Landing are -0251, 0151, 0026.

Most players will end up approaching Lookout Landing from the southern gate, where they'll be greeted by Burwar and Drozer. After a quick catchup, the pair will suggest speaking with Purah, who is the acting head of Lookout Landing and can be found in the tall building over to the far right of the settlement. As players get close to her location, they'll be accosted by the familiar face of Josha, after which, Purah will come outside.

Following a brief recap of the current situation, Purah will ask Link to meet up with the search party up by Hyrule Castle, which means another trip north. This actually marks the end of the To the Kingdom of Hyrule main story quest though, with players triggering the Crisis at Hyrule Castle quest immediately after their first conversation with Purah concludes. This new quest ends up being much longer, but one in which players unlock plenty of new skills and mechanics, such as how to reveal the map.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
