While there are traditional dungeons that are part of the main story of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are over 150 shrines scattered all across Hyrule that are (mostly) optional. While these mini-dungeons will not advance the story in any way, players will still want to track down as many of the shrines as possible. The reason for this is that by completing shrines, players can increase their health and stamina.
Each shrine presents a series of challenges that players must overcome. The Rotsumamu Shrine is one of many shrines in Tears of the Kingdom that players can find, and this guide will cover how to find and complete it.
Where to FInd the Rotsumamu Shrine
The Rotsumamu Shrine is up in the Gerudo Highlands. Specifically, the Rotsumamu Shrine is located at -3409, -1358, 0335. The shrine is east of the Yiga Clan Hideout. In order to reach this spot, players will need to have sufficient cold resistance to reach the shrine alive since it is in a very cold region. Once players have found the shrine, they can unlock it and open up the area as an area for fast travel.
Rotsumamu Shrine Walkthrough
Upon entering the Rotsumamu Shrine, players should sprint towards the ramp and then jump up to the next floor. If players are quick, they will be able to reach the next floor. Go up and approach the metallic barrel.
Pick up this barrel and then stand on the left side of the ramp so that it goes down. Use Ultrahand to fuse the barrel to the bottom of the ramp. Since the barrel is fairly heavy, this will keep it down on the ground and allow players to jump up to the next floor via the other end of the ramp.
On the next floor, players will encounter another ramp. This time, there are three blocks on the right cannot be moved as they are bolted down in place. Before solving this puzzle, take the nearby platform and block and combine them with Ultrahand. Use Ultrahand again to fuse them to the edge of the ramp to create a bridge to the platform on the left side. Go across to loot a chest that contains a Large Zonaite.
Separate the block and platform and then take them to the other side of the ramp where the three blocks are. Place the block down behind the three blocks and then attach the platform onto it. If done correctly a depicted in the image above, this will create a ramp that allows players to gain access to the room where the altar is along with another Light of Blessing that can be collected.
