One The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom fan has shown the world how far the building mechanics in the game can go by releasing a tutorial on how to build a tank. Building this tank inside Tears of the Kingdom gives the player fully functional driving capabilities, a working tank gun, and even a patrolling trophy system.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has only been out for less than a month, and fans have already created some of the most impressive builds imaginable, from basic weapons and vehicles to Star Wars TIE fighters that can actually fly. Many of these fantastic creations are cool to look at but don’t provide much functionality when it comes to an active battle. But now, thanks to one creative fan, players of the newest installment in the Legend of Zelda franchise now know how to create an actual working tank.

Reddit user AlfredoTheImpasta has posted a tutorial on how to create an advanced-looking tank using a collection of Zonai devices. Unlike the very impressive Metal Gear REX built in Tears of the Kingdom, this tank is not just for show, as it can be both driven around and used to attack surrounding enemies. The tutorial itself breaks down the exact process for building the tank, which showcases how to use a spring as a door, three small wheels as tank treads, and a sled as part of the tank gun. The video even shows how to create a working trophy system, an actual protection system used with real tanks to stop anti-tank rockets and other high-explosive rounds.

It’s safe to say that for most players, it will only take a few hours to figure out how to build a car in Tears of the Kingdom, but very few people will create a tank on their own. The most surprising thing is how many Zonai devices it takes to build the tank. It only takes six small wheels, four carts, three sleds, two beam emitters, one spring, one steering wheel, one cannon, and one stake to help with the building process.

While this tutorial only shows how to create the tank, AlfredoTheImpasta posted a second video to showcase the true power of it. This video proves how easy it can be to take down the toughest enemies in Tears of the Kingdom using this genius build.
