Tears of the Kingdom is possibly the largest Zelda game ever, and some gamers may spend hundreds of hours exploring it, so it’s quite a feat to complete all the content in the game so quickly.Tears of the Kingdom has been a huge hit. Initial reports about the game state that it’s even outpacing Elden Ring in sales, with over 10 million units sold in three days, and many more units in the following weeks. This gives the game plenty of opportunity to sell more than Breath of the Wild, which sold 31 million units in the last six years. According to the streamer, he was able to find all 1,000 Korok Seeds, finish the 152 shrines, meet all 509 NPCs, uncover the 18 memories, defeat over 250 bosses, complete all dungeons, and much more, all while he maxed his stats, and fully explored the world. It’s a very impressive feat, considering that the map of Hyrule is huge, and it has three layers, with a full world above and below the ground.

SmallAnt is a Canadian gaming streamer who specializes in speedrunning, so it’s not such a big surprise that he was able to beat the new Zelda game so fast. In the comments of his tweet, someone asked him whether he explored the whole game by himself or if he used any Tears of the Kingdom guides. SmallAnt explained that he started by playing blindly, but eventually began using maps with location guides because it was becoming impossible to complete all the objectives otherwise, as many of them were well hidden.

Players who are not as quick to finish the game as SmallAnt will probably catch the Tears of the Kingdom 1.1.2 update. This new patch fixes a controversial bug that was being exploited by players to duplicate items. The change angered a few players who were exploiting the glitch and were not very happy that they won’t be able to keep duplicating weapons for combat or gems to gain money easily. However, the update is automatic, and any Switch connected to the internet will get it.
