There are several side quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that requires a player to take photos of enemies, fauna, and other things in Hyrule. One of the many quest chains that needs these pictures is Kilton's Monstrous Collection quest chain. As he is getting ready to move to Tarrey Town, he asks Hudson to help him make some monster statues; Hudson says he needs references. Players will then have to go out into the world and take photos of the five monsters that Kilton wants as statues around his new location.

After players finish the tutorial sky islands, they can head down to grab their paraglider from Purah at Lookout Landing. Chatting with this character will get the quest chain Regional Phenomena started; once players have this quest, they should be able to start the quests to get the camera as well. Make sure to chat with Purah, Josha, and Robbie, the three researchers all located near the Skyview Tower.

Robbie will say something about heading down into the Depths, and Link will need to follow him. Head down into Hyrule Field Chasm and look for some campfires near the Lightroot. He will help Link to unlock the camera on the Purah Pad. Once players have the camera, they can complete the Monstrous Collection quest chain in Akkala.

Kilton's new home is located in town proper of Tarrey Town, around 3961, 1637, 0128. Chat with Kilton, and he and Hudson will ask for a photo of a Bokoblin. Thankfully, this can be any kind of Bokoblin just so long as it isn't a boss Bokonblin, so players don't need to look for a specific color of this enemy. The reward for grabbing the photo and setting up the statue for Kilton is 1x Monster Extract.

The second photo Tears of the Kingdom's Kilton will want is of a Horroblin. These critters can be found in caves all over the world; if players are having trouble finding one, they should check out the caves around Hyrule Field for a good photo. The rewards for this leg of the quest are 1x Monster Extract and 1x Sneaky Monster Soup.

After this, Kilton won't ask for a specific monster unless Link asks him. Choose the "Got a monster in mind?" option, and Kilton will ask players to help him find a Battle Talus. These are the massive rock monsters with a Bokoblin platform attached to the top of them in Tears of the Kingdom. There is an easy-to-find one of these monsters located on the other side of Orsedd Bridge from Hyrule Castle at 0495, 0485, 0025. Take a photo and bring it back to Kilton for 1x Monster Extract and a Monster Bridle for Link's horses.

Kilton will ask for a photo of a Frox next. These massive critters can be found in the Depths underneath Hyrule. The best place to find one is around -0723, -1037, -0470 just south of the Nihcayam Lightroot. This is immediately underneath the Exchange Ruins in the southern part of Hyrule Field. Players will get both a Monster Extract and a Monster Saddle for their horses for the trouble.

The fifth and final photo that Kilton will ask for is for a King Gleeok. These massive, three-headed terrors can be found in the sky. The easiest one to get to appears to be the one in the West Hebra Sky Archipelago in the round island to the far west of the map. Look for this sky island at -4420, 2297, 1246. The best way to get there is to complete the Wind Temple in Tears of the Kingdom, then use the bouncy ships to get over to it. Make sure to bring some stamina potions, as it is a long flight. Kilton will give Link a Diamond and a Monster Extract.
