The Armor of Time is a special set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that is fashioned after Link's outfit in Ocarina of Time. To obtain it, players must venture into the Depths, an underground area that presents numerous challenges. This guide is here to help fans overcome those challenges and secure the entirety of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Time Armor set.

To note, players are advised to do a bit of preparatory work before pursuing the Armor of Time. Specifically, fans should confirm that they have suitable stockpile of TotK's Brightbloom Seeds, as those items play a very important role in navigating through the Depths. Players may also want to procure a piece of Flamebreaker Armor, as the Cap of the Time is located in an area with an extreme temperature, though that is not mandatory.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Trousers of Time Location

The Trousers of Time are in a chest at coordinates -4180, -0697, -1121 within the Depths' Gerudo Canyon Mine. This is the easiest Time Armor set piece to obtain, and this route will lead players directly to it:

Tears of the Kingdom players can loot the Tunic of Time from a chest at coordinates -2002, 1309, -0715 within the Depths' Lindor Canyon Mine. Once again, this is a very easy chest to access, and here is a route for fans to follow:

  • Enter the Hyrule Ridge Chasm at -2635, 1135, 0176, west of the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower.
  • Go northeast to Tikanur Lightroot at -2531, 1168, -0623.
  • Continue northeast to the chest.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Cap of Time Location

The Cap of Time is in a chest at coordinates -4078, -2799, -0450 in the Depths' Sherifin's Lavafalls. This location can prove to be quite difficult to reach, and players are advised to follow this path very carefully in order to minimize their chances of running into issues:

  • Enter the Hyrule Ridge Chasm at -2635, 1135, 0176, west of the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower.
  • Go northeast to Tikanur Lightroot at -2531, 1168, -0623.
  • Go northwest to canyon entrance at -2692, 1416, -0610.
  • Follow canyon north, exiting near -2688, 1629, -0694.
  • Go west to Kawumoro Lightroot at -3077, 1616, -0687.
  • Continue west to a ledge at -3881, 1612, -0592.
  • Go north to So-oaw Lightroot at -4057, 1989, -0674.
  • Go west to -4398, 1998, -0565, stopping near a Battle Talus.
  • Go north to Nupisoyuat Lightroot at -4537, 2879, -0707, passing a Blue-White Frox along the way.
  • Go southeast to a large root at -4187, 2617, -0557, passing by the Blue-White Frox once again.
  • Equip TotK's Flamebreaker armor, and follow the root up to the lava falls.
  • The chest is on a rock pillar at -4078, -2799, -0450, next to a lava fall.
