While it is quite simple to access the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will not be able to activate it immediately upon entry. This is due to the fact that the pedestal inside the tower is not working, and fans will need to put some amount of effort toward making it functional. This guide is here to provide more details on that process, and players that read on should have no trouble fixing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower

In order to fix the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, TotK players must enlist the assistance of Sawson, an NPC that can be found on the lift at coordinates -2395, -2138, 0273. The problem is that the aforementioned lift is not operational, making it impossible for Sawson to access the tower and perform his work. Fortunately, it is not very difficult to overcome this problem, and the solution centers around the building materials that are at coordinates -2424, -2200, 0301, directly next to the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower

More specifically, players should begin by using TotK's Ultrahand ability to grab one of the large wooden platforms from the cache of building materials. Fans should then rotate the object so that it is flat and attach it to the block with no platform that is connected to Sawson's lift. Players should then attach metal cubes, which are found near the materials stockpile, to the platform in order to increase its weight.

After just a few cubes have been added to the platform, fans will see their construction move downward, and Swanson's lift will ascend. Players should then speak with the NPC, and this action will prompt him to begin fixing the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. Once this repair has been completed, fans must simply interact with the pedestal that is inside to turn the tower into a fast travel point in Tears of the Kingdom and reveal the map of the surrounding area.

To note, this is not the only broken tower that players will encounter in Hyrule, and there is actually another one in the area just east of the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. This structure is known as the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, and players will once again need an NPC to perform a repair before the tower can be activated. Finding this NPC can prove to be a bit tricky, though, and fans should be prepared to do a very thorough search.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
