More complicated examples include vehicles with wheels, propulsion, lights, and driving controls. Creative Tears of the Kingdom veterans will take advantage of this feature with great effect.

One Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has shared on Reddit a piece of advice and a creation they're using to travel in the Hyrule's Depths. The Depths is a massive underground map shrouded in darkness and full of powerful enemies and dangerous obstacles. To get around, Reddit user probablyjimmylam uses a straightforward vehicle with four large wheels and a basic body and control station. The key feature of their vehicle, however, is where it gets its light from.

The advice that probablyjimmylam gives to other The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is to put aside any mechanical lights they find. There's a better, and much more intuitive way to light up the area around the vehicle. Instead of lights, plant a Giant Brightbloom Seed onto the front of the vehicle. It will cast a much wider area of light compared to other light sources.

Odds are, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players are already using Brightbloom Seeds to light up areas of the Depths. They're likely shooting them at the ground, however, to create permanent areas of light. These players likely never even considered putting Brightbloom Seeds onto a moving vehicle, but it does work. There's no need to waste any more seeds traveling from Lightroot to Lightroot.

The best solutions in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are often simple ones. Those types of "Eureka!" moments are common in the Zelda franchise, but Tears of the Kingdom captures the idea in a way that's unique and special. The Depths is an area unlike anything seen in a Zelda game before, and players are flexing their creativity to take on the challenge.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
