Some bows are certainly better than others and, as a result, may be harder to find, but each will offer a substantial combination of damage and durability, with some even offering unique elemental effects, along with the ability to fire multiple arrows at the same time.

10 Forest Dweller's Bow

Zelda Forest Dweller's Bow

The Forest Dweller's bow was crafted by the Koroks for Hylians using flexible wood and strong vines. As a result, the bow has a sturdy 35 Durability, but its main appeal lies in its ability to shoot three arrows at once. Combined, the damage will amount to 3x15 for each arrow landed and can be extremely effective when faced with multiple enemies. Due to the vines of its bowstring, the flight velocity of arrows fired from this bow is roughly 11% slower than that of other bows, which is the only real downside.

The Forest Dweller's Bow can be found in a chest on Satori Mountain, as well as near Tama Pond and N. Tabantha Snowfield.

9 Dragonbone Boko Bow

The Dragonbone Boko Bow is a strong single-shot bow favored by the Bokoblins of Hyrule Ridge and Hyrule Field. Said to be reinforced with hand-picked fossils collected by the Bokoblins, the bow possesses a very respectable 24 Damage per shot, but its 30 Durability pales in comparison to many other options that can be found within the game. As a wooden item, the bow will be susceptible to fire damage and will not utilize lightning abilities as some metal weaponry is able to.

7 Knight's Bow

The Knight's Bow is a sturdy, shiny, metallic bow clearly constructed with durability in mind. It is said that this weapon was once a favorite of the Knights at Hyrule. Offering a base attack of 26 Damage, the Knight's Bow offers a slight edge over its close rivals, and its superior durability is also incredibly useful, though its lack of any special firing quirks may put this bow at a slight disadvantage compared to some others.

The Knight's Bow is most commonly found in the Gerudo Desert or Akkal Highlands.

6 Zonaite Bow

The Zonaite Bow is a powerful Zonai bow that utilizes power from the player's Energy Cell in order to propel its arrows a great distance further than many other bows are capable of. With an intimidating green and gold, aggressive design, this bow can be expected to exert damage up to 30, making it one of the most powerful single-shot bows in the game.

Forged using ancient technology, this bow will deliver a colossal 50 Damage, more than any other bow, and has a notably high rate of fire. The only downside is the bow's durability, meaning it will have to be repaired more often than some other bows and may be susceptible to breaking entirely, but with the damage output it boasts, this is more than worth it.

The bow is better utilized from a close range since its three arrows will fire outwards horizontally, but this unique ability can cause massive damage when faced with larger opponents or groups of enemies alike.

The bow can be acquired by defeating Lynel, a powerful enemy located in the Central Hyrul Depths and Hyrule Field.
