A talented The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fan has posted their handmade terrarium featuring a Guardian online, with the post quickly garnering plenty of likes, praise, and inquiries about buying one. Each iteration of the Legend of Zelda franchise usually includes new or unique versions of enemies, with Guardians being one of the most intimidating and memorable enemies players have faced in the long-running franchise.

The Guardians from the now-iconic The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are ancient Sheikah machines that are under the control of Calamity Ganon, coming in a variety of forms and all determined to stop Link at every turn. Some of the toughest enemies in the game, the enemies are most easily dealt with by running away, that is unless someone is skilled or creative enough to block Guardians' powerful lasers.

Found on a subreddit titled r/zelda, a user with the handle of u/_h3ym00n_ shows off their impressive custom The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild terrarium. The photo provided shows a hexagonal glass pane structure, with a half-buried Guardian emerging out of the ground. The Guardian itself appears to be a Guardian Stalker, the most fearsome of the enemy type, and looks like something straight out of the game. Adorning the Guardian is moss and some purple flowers, echoing the centerpiece's natural surroundings. While the scale is difficult to discern, the fan-made terrarium is downright impressive nonetheless.

The Breath of the Wild Guardian terrarium is certainly popular with other The Legend of Zelda fans, as the post has already amassed nearly 300 upvotes just hours after being posted. The comments section is also filled with universal praise, with many of the comments being questions on how to purchase one. The creative piece of art is just one example of the many fan-made works inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild enemy, with another fan making headlines for their trio of stunning Guardian Amiibos they crafted themselves.

The Legend of Zelda isn't the only Nintendo property fans have recently modeled their own terrariums after. A few weeks ago, a Pokemon fan not only showed off their Pikachu terrarium, but documented their process in making it. A montage video shows the entire process from start to finish, creating a terrarium unique from the one above. While the Guardian terrarium unfortunately doesn't have one, the finished product is still gorgeous to look at.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now on Switch.
