With The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild having been out for almost a month, more and more players are starting to finish up the game's story and focus on creating their own challenges. Now one brave individual has shown off their Zelda skills by defeating the title's lethal guardians using only a horse as their weapon.

As if the robotic enemies weren't enough of a threat, YouTuber DeliciousTea Gaming has proven that it's possible to defeat The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's giant guardians simply by ramming into them repeatedly with their trusty steed. To up the challenge, the Zelda fan also took off any equipped armor, taking on the beast with just three hearts and barely any clothes.

It might seem straight forward at first, but the fight consists of desperately trying to avoid the huge laser strikes, while at the same time ramming the guardian at full speed. As it turns out, the ancient robots take a fair amount of damage from horses, especially when their legs are targeted.

Unfortunately for DeliciousTea, it's near impossible to avoid the guardian's attacks forever, and after one close call, the horse begins to catch on fire. Undeterred, the YouTuber destroys all of the robotic creature's legs before leaping from the horse to take on the beast solo. One quick parry returns a powerful laser beam back to sender and the guardian is obliterated. After the fight, DeliciousTea's horse is rewarded with a well-deserved feast of apples for its efforts.

The hardcore Zelda fan may make the guardian fight look easy, but the ancient warriors are actually incredibly tough. As we see in this video detailing a fight between a guardian and the mighty Stone TalusBreath of the Wild's larger enemies are no push-overs. That said, DeliciousTea's channel also features a Stone Talus fight using only a a treasure chest as a weapon, which makes even the huge rock golem look like a joke.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available on Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
