There is a lot to look forward to in the video game world, but one of the games that fans are eagerly waiting for is the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While Nintendo had a rather exciting E3 showcase, the news that Breath of the Wild 2 is targeting a 2022 release date was met with a little bit of disappointment. Though the more time the game takes to bake in the oven could ensure better quality, waiting can be excruciating. This is why one fan has stepped in and created their own version of Breath of the Wild 2, and they have shared videos of the project with other fans online.

Breath of the Wild 2 was first announced at E3 2019, and there was a large gap of information between that reveal and E3 2021. While the game will be a direct sequel, things will likely be different between Breath of the Wild 2 and the original. According to one Reddit user and YouTuber, however, Nintendo can quit right now, as one fan has already created Breath of the Wild 2 themselves.

Reddit user and YouTuber Avatar Nick has taken information from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the two trailers for The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 to create their own game. u/AvatarNick has shared the work on r/Zelda, and the 23-second video has exploded. The footage shows floating islands, Link falling from the sky, Link fighting Bokoblins, Link and Zelda exploring underground dungeons, Undead Ganondorf, and more.

To further explain what is in this very short clip, a full 10-minute video is available on the Avatar Nick YouTube channel. The longer video explains that the entire game is created in Unity C#. Additionally, the challenge was inspired by the recent trailer for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The project has multiple locations, including the floating islands, Ganon's Castle, Ganon's cave, and a location for the Undead Ganondorf fight. The full video is also meant to be comical in nature, as Avatar Nick clearly is having fun with the project.

There are so many who cannot wait for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This fun project from Avatar Nick may not be a legitimate stand-in, but it is fun to see the talent of fans who are young in the game development world. In this case, the project was made in only a month. As expected, many of the commenters were incredibly impressed, though some also made jokes about Nintendo possibly arriving with some cease and desist letters.
