Similar to other Dark Magician decks, this build relies on summoning Dark Magician early (Magicians’ Souls, Eternal Soul) and acquiring necessary Spell cards (Magician’s Rod) to either do a special summon with banishment (Dark Magic Circle) or even backline destructions (Dark Magic Attack). What serves as the kicker here is the Amulet Dragon, which not only banishes Spell cards from the GY but also gains attack power per Spell banished. When summoned properly, this can easily finish off opponents before they get a chance to strike back.
