Not many people could have predicted just how enormous Minecraft, an indie game with low-res graphics created by one person, would become. Despite releasing more than a decade ago, it's still one of the most played games of this generation, sitting up there with such luminaries as Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto 5. And for good reason as well. The reason it's still popular even to this day is the amount of creative control that players are afforded, and sometimes the projects are so complex, that entire games can be created within Mojang's sandbox title.

YouTuber Fundy has once again shown just how creative a user can get in the world of Minecraft, while also displaying some pretty amazing talent of their own when it comes to realizing lofty builds. In this instance, they've managed to create a gigantic Tetris game, which not only works in all the ways that people would expect, but has been turned into a multiplayer experience as well.

The original Tetris is one of the most important video games of all time, so the fact that it's ended up in Minecraft is not too surprising. With Fundy's version, it takes the typical look and gameplay mechanics of the classic release, and makes it so that more than one player can take part. In this instance, two people control the fallling blocks, with one being able to move and rotate one way, while the other controls the other directions, while a third attempts to climb the blocks. If they are able to reach the top and press a button, they are treated to a surprise. To make things even more difficult, one of the randomly selected Tetris blocks is in the shape of a huge Among Us character.

Fundy is certainly no stranger to taking classic games and reimagining them in interesting ways. Recently, they were able to create a pseudo horror version of Pac-Man in Minecraft. However, in this recreation, it was the players who would run away from the titular spherical pill gobbler.

As a video game with near infinite replay value, Minecraft is seeing no end of creative projects that are surfacing. The endless landscape and powerful tools that are at the player's disposal means that fans can really let their imaginations run wild, building enormous structures, or crafting some intricate contraptions out of Redstone. It will be interesting to see what Fundy will come up with next.

Minecraft is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
