Yakuza Kiwami 2 features an in-depth Cabaret Club management side-activity for Kiryu to participate in: a mini-game that returns from Yakuza 0. This guide will explain how to recruit the best hostesses in the game to turn Kiryu's club into one of the very best in Kamurocho.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega. An enhanced and improved remake of the original Yakuza 2, the game stars series protagonist and ex-yakuza Kiryu as he returns to the action in the aftermath of a bombing at the Millenium Tower in Kamurocho.
Koyuki
Koyuki is a highly competent Hostess with well-rounded stats. She is available right from the start of the game, providing players with an excellent All-Rounder right from the beginning.
Kana
Kana is recruited from a rival club after defeating the Fresh League. She has an S rank in Cute, making her well worth the trouble.
Aika
Aika is recruited in the same manner as Kana, leaving a rival club to join the team after clearing the Paradise League. Her S rank in Funny makes her highly useful.
Shoko
Shoko is yet another recruit that's gained from competing in the league, joining the team after players have beaten the Executive League. With S rank Elegance, she makes a great addition to the team.
Yua
Joining after the Millionaire League is beaten, Yua joins the team with S rank Cute. This can be very handy, especially if Kana is exhausted and off duty.
Kirara
Joining right after the Final Match, Kirara is another all-rounder, with her A and B rank skills flipped when compared to Koyuki. This makes her yet another powerful ally, although her late recruitment makes her less useful for actually completing the substory.
Etsuko
Etsuko is a hostess specializing in the Funny stat and can be recruited by completing Substory #49. This substory introduces Kiryu to the infamous "Obatarian of Osaka," a returning character from Yakuza 0. She can be found during or after Chapter 11 by heading south of Club Four Shine. If players beat up some guys for her, she'll give Kiryu some candy for his trouble. After this, she can be recruited by speaking to her outside Club Four Shine.
The Headmistress
The Headmistress is another hostess with an S rank in the Funny stat and can be recruited via substory #7. First available in Chapter 5, this substory is unlocked by first completing substories #5 and #6. To start this chain of events, players should head to the south end of Nakaichi St. in Kamurocho to find the headmistress of the Sunflower Orphanage. After donating to the Orphanage, adopting a dog, and beating up some Yakuza, substories #5 and #6 will be done.
Now, Kiryu just needs to run one final errand and report back to clear substory #7. After this, Suenaga the Headmistress will appear outside Club Four Shine and join the team once spoken to.
Miki
Yet another substory recruit with an S rank in funny, Miki can be found by completing Substory #51 during or after Chapter 10. First, players will need to head outside the Grand in Sotenburi and protect a busker from a thug to clear Substory #50.
Players can then head to the south side of Don Quijote to find a woman being harassed by a pair of thugs. After Kiryu beats them up, she'll explain that she's a singer without a guitarist. Kiryu will then drop the guy from Substory #50's name to introduce them and clear substory #51. After this, Miki can be found at Club Four Shine and recruited.
Yuriko
An S rank in the funny stat (yet again) makes Yuriko a very competent Hostess, and her decent stats in everything else also aid in this. She can be recruited via Substory #47 in chapter 10. To do so, players will need to stop a knife attack in the southwest part of Shofukucho, near the parking lot, to stumble into a kidnapping plot. They'll have to rescue a woman named Miki to complete the substory, which will unlock Yuriko over at Four Shine.
Yuka
Players seeking another all-rounder like Koyuki or Kirara will find Yuka very helpful. Recruited via Substory #12 in Chapter 13, players will need to bring Haruka to the area next to Shine on Pink St. to begin the substory.
Next, players should head to Nakamichi Alley north of Ebisu Pawn, and then follow the substory all the way through to receive the Heavenly Beasts Bracelet as a reward. They can then head back to Four Shine, where they'll find Yuka just waiting outside to be recruited.
Ono Michiko & Ono Michiyo
A hostess acquired via a piece of free DLC, Ono Michiko has S rank Cute and Funny stats. Players purchasing the "Special Item Pack" DLC will also acquire Ono Michiyo, a second hostess with an S rank in Cute and Funny.
Yuki
The Legendary Hostess Yuki from Yakuza 0 can be recruited by defeating the Millionaire League. With an S rank in Elegant and nearly every kind of expertise, Yuki is exceptionally useful.
