Yakuza 0 is one of the most popular entries in SEGA's long-running franchise. With the entire mainline Yakuza series on PC and consoles, it has brought in many fans. One of its most appealing qualities is the amount of content and charm the series brings, from blood-pumping arcade action combat to taking a break in the city of Kamurocho. This leads to one of Yakuza 0's most famous minigames and memes, the Disco Dancing minigame.

The minigame is exclusive to Yakuza 0, where the player can take either Kiryu or Majima to Club Maharaja and dance the night away. The minigame also has a multiplayer option, where two players can compete against each other in a dance battle. There are five original songs featured in the minigame, with the most famous of them being Friday Night. With its catchy beat and incredible dance moves from Kiryu and Majima, it's become a famous meme that fans post every Friday.

With the meme being one of the most prevalent parts of Yakuza 0, there have been various spins on it. This includes a video of two cosplayers of Kiryu and Majima dancing to the tune of Friday Night on a Dancerush Stardom arcade machine. The Kiryu is played by Dallas Rosalez, while AeroTorimodosu donning the suit of Majima, the two of them being roommates. Kiryu's suit is based on his iconic grey one, while Majima's appearance is modeled on his outfit in Yakuza 0, complete with a rat tail and black suit.

Dallas Rosalez previously made a video that went viral where it showed him dancing as Kiryu by himself, so this was a fitting second part that includes his friendly rival Majima. In a fitting bit of characterization for the video, fans pointed out that the moves made by Kiryu while dancing on the machine were big, strong, and bold, similar to his combat and brawling style. Meanwhile, Majima's moves are quick, sleek, and eye-catching, much like his more mobile Breaker combat style in Yakuza 0.

Fittingly, this video was originally posted on a Friday, which completes the meme. It's awesome seeing these cosplayers take these iconic Yakuza characters and meme to the next level with a video like this is amusing, to say the least. It shows how much people love the Yakuza series and the many aspects of it.

Yakuza 0 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
