The first season of the Overwatch League was plagued by numerous situations of player misconduct, with Dallas Fuel's Felix “xQc” Lengyel being one of the most notorious players. During his time in the Overwatch League, xQc was fined thousands of dollars and suspended for various reasons, and ended up exiting the professional Overwatch scene before the end of the season to focus on streaming. Overwatch remains one of the main games xQc streams, and he has been vocal about some of its recent updates.

Specifically, xQc has criticized two recent additions to Overwatch in the form of Hanzo's Storm Arrow ability and the support hero Brigitte, who he feels should not have been added to Competitive Play. xQc has taken issue with other aspects of the game as well, and his frustrations are enough for him to tell people not to play the game.

During a recent Twitch stream, one of xQc's viewers said that he hadn't played Overwatch in more than a year, but would like to get back into the hero shooter after watching him play. The viewer then asked xQc if he would recommend getting back into the game, to which the streamer responded by screaming the word, "No!"

Since xQc has expressed frustration with recent updates made to Overwatch, it makes sense that he would tell people not to play it. However, xQc himself continues to play the game despite his issues with it, so it's still a bit odd that he would tell his viewers not to play it themselves.

It's also worth pointing out that Overwatch is a constantly-evolving experience, and it's possible that some of xQc's complaints will be addressed in future updates. After all, Hanzo's Storm Arrow ability wasn't in the game until Blizzard decided to completely overhaul the character, and if enough players have similar feelings about Brigitte, she could be the subject of a comprehensive rework not unlike Hanzo's or Symmtera's.

Besides potentially changing the way some characters play in Overwatch, Blizzard will also be adding new content on a regular basis, including new heroes, new maps, and more. And like everything else in the game, anything Blizzard adds to Overwatch is subject to change as the team continues its balancing efforts.

Overwatch is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
