Between the success of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and the recent announcement of Pyra and Mythra coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now is a better time than ever to be a fan of Xenoblade Chronicles. Today, fans have one more thing to look forward to, as Goodsmile has opened up pre-orders for a 1/7th scale statue of Melia Antiqua with her Future Connected design.

Melia is an important party member in the first Xenoblade Chronicles. She is the successor to the High Entia throne, but despite this regal status is a very sweet and determined ally to the party. The new Future Connected epilogue focuses on finishing up her story, as she and Shulk explore the long-lost location of Bionis' Shoulder.

With her relevance and popularity, it only makes sense for Melia to get the first official statue of a character from the original game. A tweet from Goodsmile shows off the figure from several angles, displaying the quality and attention to detail in her mold. The statue will cost $190.99 and ships in August 2022, giving collectors plenty of time to save up money for this investment.

Melia's figure is a must-own for hardcore fans of Xenoblade Chronicles. Being a relatively new series, Xenoblade still doesn't have much merchandise for fans to collect. Pyra and Mythra joining Smash Bros. likely signals they will get Amiibo soon, but it is nice to see some love for the first game as well.

The series has come a long way from being a standalone Wii title that nearly wasn't localized. What began as a niche cult classic is now a series that consistently sells one-to-two million copies and has three characters in Super Smash Bros. With this recent success, Melia's figure is just the cherry on top for those who love the series.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is available now for the Nintendo Switch.
