In the Naruto franchise, the Akatsuki is a group of morally questionable ninja whose symbol is a swirly red cloud. These clouds often decorate the members' signature black cloaks, and make it clear who is a member. The group has a significant role within the plot of Naruto, which makes the clouds a recognizable symbol for franchise fans.
The user's wife made the cloud stickers with a cutting machine called a Cricut, and placed them on the exterior of the black console. The red and white really stand out against the dark surface of the console, making them easy to notice and appreciate. It isn't easy for everyone who wants one right now to purchase an Xbox Series X, so it makes sense that the people who were lucky enough to acquire a console would want to make theirs special to them.
