Rumors have been swirling about the Xbox Series X lately, with supposed leaks pointing to Microsoft showing off some of the console's games as early as May. Nothing has been confirmed so far, but now another supposed "leak" claims to reveal more details about what exactly Microsoft will be announcing for the Xbox Series X.

This leak originates from 4chan, so fans should take the information with a massive grain of salt. Even so, there have been legitimate video game leaks that have originated on the site, and so claims like this can't be completely dismissed. In any case, the leak says that Microsoft will be hosting two digital events for the Xbox Series X in May and June that will focus on Xbox Series X games.

The May event will be a "proper console reveal," though it will still be showing off games. Meanwhile, the June event, Microsoft's E3 replacement, will be "packed with games," according to the leaker. The leaker then goes on to talk about certain games that will be revealed over the next couple of months, though stops short of specifying which games will be announced at which digital event.

Apparently, Fable 4 will be revealed, with the leaker calling it a "fantasy monster." The game is said to have a hand-crafted world mixed with procedural generation that will allow the developers to make the game be much larger in scale than otherwise. Fable 4 will be joined by a new IP coming from an unnamed Japanese studio, along with the reveal of a new Obsidian game, and a new Forza Motorsport game.

Of course, Halo Infinite will really be the star of the show, with Microsoft said to be highlighting the game's "huge open world" that will contain linear story missions mixed with optional exploration. The leaker says that the Halo Infinite campaign is "much more ambitious" and not the typical six to nine hours that players expect from Halo story modes. The leaker also says that the developers are "doing one very bold move" when it comes to Halo Infinite's multiplayer, but doesn't provide any specific details.

Like with any leak, fans should treat this information with a healthy dose of skepticism. It's possible that this person has legitimate insider knowledge, but it's just as likely that they're making it all up. Whatever the case may be, it wouldn't be surprising at all for Microsoft to unveil Xbox Series X games throughout May and June, so fans should learn sooner rather than later if there's any truth to this.
