Unboxing videos for the Xbox Series X controller have appeared online, months before the planned launch of the console and its accessories. It has been an incredibly leaky week for the Xbox team, which confirmed the Xbox Series X release month after the information first leaked via a controller warranty.

Two videos of a white version of the Xbox Series X controller have now been posted to YouTube in the last 24 hours. One, by a YouTuber user named DontSueMePlease, features the "Robot White" controller packaging being opened, revealing the controller and a double pack of AA batteries inside. The controller also comes with an instruction manual and a 14-day free trial to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The Xbox Game Pass subscription service has a huge number of subscribers but it seems that the Xbox team has plenty of plans to grow that some more with its next-generation Xbox console.

Another, much lower quality Xbox Series X controller video has also been posted to Twitter. This video is just 14 seconds long and features no audio. The video itself isn't very informative but it does suggest that the first video, by DontSueMePlease, wasn't just a one-off and that there are a number of the controllers out in the wild.

The leak of these white-colored controllers may suggest that another big Xbox hardware announcement is coming soon. The controller boxes have also given fans another confirmation of the Xbox Series S, a less powerful console which is rumored to be more affordable than the Xbox Series X. To stop more leaks from happening and to control the messaging around the information, the Xbox team may be forced to hold an event and make some official announcements.

The next set of Xbox Series X announcements may also come with some sort of Xbox Game Pass reveal. Earlier this week, a reporter suggested that a big Xbox Game Pass announcement would be coming this month. It's not known if this is somehow linked to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate free trial offer found in those Xbox Series X controller boxes or if it's something else.

This isn't the only information that fans want and have been talking about. There have been a huge number of rumors about the Xbox Series X price and despite having a confirmed release window, there's still no real date for when fans can expect it to actually launch.
