When official sources don't provide, fan designs fill in the gaps, and these unofficial creations can be absolute visual treats. One person's combination of Cyberpunk 2077 and the Xbox Series S is a seriously cool example of what passionate fans can make.

The Xbox Series S release is just around the corner, and Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to come out a little over a week later. Fans already have a lot of information about the Xbox Series S specs and performance, but so far the only officially released images of the Xbox Series S and X have been in standard black and white color schemes. But while the Cyberpunk 2077 console design may not be official, it is getting some fans excited about the potential direction Microsoft could take with its console design.

Twitter user @XboxPope recently shared a first concept test of their version of the console design, and it looks amazing for a draft. The design plays into the color scheme of some of the official art for the game, with bright yellow and gritty blue covering most of the console and controller. Cyberbunk 2077's next-gen visuals already look stunning, and Pope's design is a great homage to the upcoming RPG's style and aesthetic.

Many sources are already calling the Xbox Series S an amazing deal, with its budget price, great CPU for its size, and how it will reportedly run faster than the PS5 at a much lower cost. It's not surprising, then, that fans are already thinking about potential special edition deals and game crossovers Microsoft could incorporate into its marketing.

Fans were briefly able to buy a special edition Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077, so the idea of the Xbox Series S getting the same treatment isn't so far-fetched. Granted, if an official design were to be made, it would most likely be designed by in-house designers and look different than this fan's unofficial mockup. Still, it's fun to see what cool things people in the community are making and applaud them for their efforts in creating these things entirely for free.

This is only one of many designs fans are interested in seeing made in special edition console releases, as the fan Xbox Series X Assassin's Creed Valhalla shows. Of course, the consoles haven't even released in their normal colors yet, so fans might have to wait a while until special editions start happening, but hopefully they happen soon.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on November 19th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PlayStation 5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X upgrades will also be available. The Xbox Series S launches on November 10, 2020.
