It's going to be a big weekend for Microsoft as the Xbox-centric event known as X018 kicks off in Mexico City. Revealed last month in a new blog post, the event promises plenty of gaming news for fans from both first and third party sources. Unfortunately, Microsoft didn't share much else as to what fans could expect to see whether in person or via streaming methods like Mixer. Thankfully, that changed earlier today as new information finally came out

The new details regarding Microsoft's X018 event came courtesy of Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, who took to Twitter to make a few announcements. Hryb's weekly online show, Inside Xbox, will be broadcast live from Mexico City for a full 2 hours full of games on Saturday, November 10 at 4 p.m. ET. The Tweet went on to reveal plenty of first-party titles will be on display, including many which came out this year such as Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves, and State of Decay 2. After a number of delays, Crackdown 3 will also be on hand and shown off in some capacity.

In addition to games, a blog post also went on to reveal that Microsoft will be announcing 12 new titles joining the already expansive Xbox Game Pass service. The event will also feature plenty of guests like Xbox head Phil Spencer, Head of Microsoft Studios Matt Booty, and Minecraft Studio Head Helen Chiang. Lastly, for fans of free stuff, those watching on Mixer and logged into their Microsoft account will receive in-game items for Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4.

Xbox fans will want to tune into X018 this weekend as Microsoft has previously confirmed that it has plenty of secrets to share as well. While fans already know that Halo Infinite won't be there, the company does have a surprise or two ready to share. Speculation has naturally engulfed the community with many believing that a Fable 4 teaser of some sort could be shown. With Microsoft publishing general manager Shannon Loftis previously revealing that the company has a number of games in development, fans have also started to wonder if Darrell Gallagher's Santa Monica studio may be included in this, or if it's still too early for The Initiative.

Xbox X018 will take place between November 10-11 in Mexico City.
