Video game streaming on Twitch is as popular as ever, with icons like shroud, pokimane, and summt1g. However, one of the most popular streamers on Twitch is still Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, who boasts over 16 millions subscribers as well as a few game appearances sporting his trademark blue hair, like a new skin in Fall Guys.

Ninja's presence has been cemented by his role as a well-known streamer of Fortnite, where Ninja has his own Fortnite Icons skin. Fortnite is an immensely popular battle royale title from Epic Games that allows players to equip various skins and weapons while they build fortresses in an attempt to be the last player standing. Recently, that pool of skins added Master Chief from Halo.

Fortnite is no stranger to crossover promotions with additions like Marvel's Thanos and Black Panther, Star Wars heroes like The Mandalorian, and gaming giants like God of War's Kratos. In order to promote Master Chief coming to Fortnite, Xbox sent Ninja a replica of one of Halo's most well known weapons: the Gravity Hammer. For reference, the Gravity Hammer is one of Halo's few melee weapons with tons of power behind each swing. Not only that, the Gravity Hammer is also available to purchase in Fortnite. In a tweet by Ninja, fans can get a first-hand look at the replica, as well as access a link for the chance to win a replica of their very own.

This isn't the first time Xbox has made use of clever methods to promote their characters and products. Just this week a few influencers were gifted Xbox Series X-themed Jenga sets that came with dozens of codes for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. While the Jenga sets are a cool way to promote the Xbox Series X, Ninja and his Gravity Hammer are a great way for Xbox to promote Master Chief's arrival in Fortnite, which is available on more than just the Xbox Series X.

Master Chief's arrival in Fortnite also brings in a new map, which looks to be an exact replica of a well-known Halo map, Blood Gulch. This was announced at The Game Awards alongside Michonne and Daryl of The Walking Dead coming to Fortnite.

As for Ninja and his Gravity Hammer sweepstakes, fans must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States. The contest ends on January 4, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. PST, so there is plenty of time for everyone interested.

Fortnite is available on Mobile, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
