Xbox has just now revealed a new Mineral Camo color for the Xbox Wireless Controller. Many consider the current Xbox controller to be one of the best controllers in the market that is compatible with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. Users can also use it on PC thanks to official drivers.

In addition to the regular controller, Microsoft makes a pro controller known as Xbox Elite Series 2. These devices come with many additional features, such as improved grips, adjustable thumbsticks, and various detachable parts. Xbox recently released an alternate version of the Elite controller known as Elite Core, which ships with the features of the Elite Series 2 but doesn’t come with the detachable parts. The Elite Core is available at a reduced price of $129.99 while the component pack sells for $59.99. Xbox has just revealed a brand-new color for the standard controller.

Microsoft has announced that the Mineral Camo Special Edition Controller is available starting today for $69.99. This is the fourth addition to the camo series of Xbox controllers, with the other options being Night Ops Camo, Arctic Camo, and Daystrike Camo. The new Mineral Camo device features a “bold mineral blue, bright purple, aqua, and dark purple camouflage pattern,” and Microsoft states that this color design sets it apart from the other controllers in the camo lineup. Xbox also believes that this color scheme strikes a perfect balance between striking and subdued.

In addition to the controller, Xbox also reveals a Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand for Xbox that features a matching Mineral Camo color. This stand is compatible with both Xbox Series X and Xbox One controllers, and Microsoft confirms that it fully charges the device in up to 3 hours. The Razer Universal Quick Charging Stand for Xbox is also available starting today and will retail for $49.99.

Microsoft has released several new colors for the Xbox controller since the generation started. Earlier in May, Xbox revealed a new Deep Pink Xbox Series X controller priced at $64.99. Fans will notice that the Mineral Camo controller is priced a bit higher at $69.99, so it costs the same as a standard DualSense controller.

A recent report from June suggested that Xbox was dealing with a controller shortage in parts of the UK and Europe. Microsoft confirmed that supply disruptions were the reason behind the lack of hardware, and it’ll be interesting to see if the Mineral Camo controller manages to keep up with demand when it launches today.
