Night Call

Night Call character
  • Genre: Action and adventure
  • Developer: Monkey Moon and BlackMuffin Studio
  • File Size: 2.18 GB (December 2021)

First up is the narrative-driven noire investigation game Night Call. Previously released on other platforms such as PC, besides PlayStation due to funding issues, players take control of a taxi driver who patrols the streets of modern-day Paris. However, all is not as it seems, as one bad cab ride results in the driver being the sole witness of a murder committed by a serial killer. In short, although this indie game didn't exactly set the world on fire when it originally debuted, fans of detective media should check it out.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

  • Developer: Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Milan
  • File Size: 53.35 GB (December 2021)

Next up is the ever-so-popular tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege. Unlike other titles on the list, this game puts heavy emphasis on environmental destruction and cooperation between players. With over 50 operators to choose from in Rainbow Six Siege, each player assumes control of an attacker or a defender in different gameplay modes, such as rescuing a hostage, defusing a bomb, and taking control of an objective within a room.

For those wondering how the multiplayer scene is doing since this Ubisoft Montreal title hit store shelves in December 2015, it's safe to say that the playerbase is still thriving. This is thanks to the consistent stream of interesting content that has been implemented since launch, with one brand new update seeing Rainbow Six Siege crossover with Resident Evil.

RiMS Racing

  • Genre: Racing
  • Developer: RaceWard Studio
  • File Size: 11.65 GB (December 2021)
  • Discount Prices: 50% off Standard Edition, 30% off Ultimate Edition, 50% off European Manufacturers Deluxe Edition, and 30% off Japanese Manufacturers Deluxe Edition.

Last is the motorcycle simulator RiMS Racing, which was released just three months ago. Whilst the game did not receive rave reviews from critics, with many faulting the lack of content featured, RiMS Racing does boast tons of realistic mechanics that are sure to make any motorsport enthusiast, at the very least, intrigued.

Finally, it should be noted that the following listed games are only available to try out from December 2 to December 5. However, for players that want to keep the gameplay going past the scheduled period, all points earned and purchased downloadable content carry over if one should decide to buy the full game at the end of the Free Play Days period.

Free Play Days is available from December 2 until December 5 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
