LG Electronics has announced an exclusive marketing partnership with Xbox for the launch of Xbox Series X/S. Courtesy of this, LG is now the official TV Partner for the most powerful Xbox console to this date in prominent regions across the world that includes Europe, Africa, Middle-East and the Asia Pacific.

With the global launch of PS5 and Xbox Series X, many people will be looking to upgrade their TV to take full advantage of these consoles' capabilities, which includes 4K gaming up to 120 frames per second. While the range of 4K TV available in the market is much more now than it was during the release of Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, there are still a lot of factors to keep in mind as all of this could be a bit confusing. Thankfully, LG Electronics has listed out all the attributes that would make next-gen gaming, especially on Xbox Series X, much more relevant on their LG OLED TV.

The 2020 LG OLED TV models are the first to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, just like Xbox Series X which also supports Dolby Atmos at launch, with a future update planned for Dolby Vision. Additionally,  LG OLED TV comes stacked up with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports which support features such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and enhanced return audio channel (eARC).

LG OLED TV also comes with a self-lit pixel technology, which means that picture quality is more vibrant, thanks to natural colors and infinite contrast. Moreover, since Xbox Series X features auto HDR for all Series X games, the latest HDR titles on LG OLED TV will look exactly as their developers intended due to the addition of HGiG. These TVs are also flicker-free and emit low blue light, thereby making them environmentally friendly and easy on the eyes, as verified by both TÜV Rhineland and Underwriters Laboratories.

LG is also planning to hold special events at select retail locations so that gamers have the opportunity to experience the full potential of Xbox Series X games running on an LG OLED TV. The countries that will benefit from such events are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

While prolong hours of gaming is much more suitable on monitors in contrast to TVs, it seems the LG OLED lineup of TVs seems to have finally found the solution to make gaming much more convenient on a TV. With the release of so many big and expansive open-world games such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, this was especially needed. As it seems, Xbox Series X users who decide to invest in one of these LG OLED TVs will benefit from a multitude of factors.
