E3 may have come and gone, but that doesn't mean gamers are done with major news and big events for the year. In fact, one of the largest gaming events, Gamescom, is coming up next month, and Xbox's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb is already teasing some of the things that will be shown off at Xbox's booth and on a special Inside Xbox stream.

One of the major new reveals will be an all-new PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mode coming to the Xbox One. Major Nelson didn't go so far as to reveal the details of the new mode, but it will be shown exclusively at the Xbox booth for the first time. The wording is a bit ambiguous as to whether or not the new mode will be entirely exclusive to the Xbox when it releases, but it's unlikely that PUBG Corp and developer Bluehole don't have plans to bring the mode to PC.

People attending Gamescom will also have the chance to check out 25 other games at the Xbox booth during the show. Among them are titles such as Ori And The Will of The Wisps, Forza Horizon 4, and a new content pack for State of Decay 2. This will be the first time European audiences have had the chance to get their hands on these titles, making it a great opportunity for everyone who attends.

Xbox also plans to announce a few new bundles for the Xbox One S and Xbox One X, as well as some new accessories. The bundles will most likely feature games that are playable at Xbox's booth, but the accessories portion could be a bit more interesting. A new Xbox Elite controller has been rumored for some time, and the availability of the current iteration has been spotty recently. A newer version with better build quality and Bluetooth integration to connect to Windows PCs would almost certainly sell like hotcakes to the hardcore gaming audience, so it makes sense that Microsoft would want to release one.

Hopefully, Xbox will have even more up its sleeves when Gamescom rolls around this year. After all, gamers love surprise announcements, and there are a ton of games Xbox could potentially demo at the show, plus rumored features like mod support.

The Inside Xbox Gamescom stream will begin at 7:30 am PDT on August 21st.
