For the past couple of months, Xbox Games with Gold mainly received positive reviews from its subscribers. As a result, not only was Microsoft able to bring in AAA games to the roster, but for October, subscribers get to play a couple of Halloween-appropriate games such as Resident Evil: Code Veronica X.

Now, it's already halfway through October, which means that most Xbox Live Gold players are probably wondering what Microsoft has in store for the program in November. Towards the end of the month, Microsoft is expected to reveal November's selection of Xbox Games with Gold, and here are some games that would probably do well and appeal to most players.

Saints Row 4 (Xbox One)

Saints Row 4

Earlier this year, developer Volition released a remastered version of Saints Row: The Third, offering players remodeled assets, enhanced graphics, and all of the original game's downloadable content. So, of course, with the remaster of the third game sparking some interest within fans of the franchise, Microsoft could capitalize on this by including Saints Row 4 on November's Xbox Games with Gold.

For the uninitiated, Saints Row 4 was originally released in 2013, and its events take place several months after Saints Row: The Third. Shortly after its release, Saints Row 4 received primarily positive reviews thanks to its open-world environment, humor, and character customization options. Last August, a reboot of the Saints Row franchise was announced and is planned for a February 2022 release. Given this, it would be nice for Microsoft to include Saints Row 4 in Xbox Games with Gold to hold over fans before the release of the reboot game.

Firewatch (Xbox One)

Another notable Xbox One game that should be included in November's Xbox Games with Gold is Firewatch, an adventure game developed by Campo Santo, released in 2016. Firewatch is played from a first-person perspective and takes place in 1989 Wyoming. Players take the role of Henry, who is a fire lookout assigned to a tower in Shoshone National Forest.

Firewatch received glowing reviews after its release, with critics praising its deep narrative, interesting characters, and gorgeous visuals. Shortly after its release, Firewatch sold 1 million copies and even went on to win several gaming awards, including the Best 3D Visual Experience at the Unity Awards in 2016.

Tomb Raider: Underworld (Xbox 360)

In 1996, the video game industry was shaken in its core with the introduction of the now-iconic Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider franchise. Ever since the first game's release, Tomb Raider became a massive franchise that created numerous games, several film adaptations, comics, and novels.

One of the most popular games in the Tomb Raider franchise is Tomb Raider: Underworld, a game celebrating its 13th year this November. Given this milestone, it would be a great idea for Microsoft to include Tomb Raider: Underworld for November's Xbox Games with Gold. Tomb Raider: Underworld was praised for the many graphical and gameplay improvements it introduced to the franchise, such as Lara Croft's motion-captured movements, its story that addresses unexplained plot elements from previous games, and the flawless execution of its puzzles and locations that offers players plenty of exploration opportunities.

Rayman Origins (Xbox 360)

In 2011, Ubisoft released Rayman Origins, the fourth main installment of the studio's wildly popular Rayman franchise. Much like its predecessors, Rayman Origins follows the adventures and mishaps of Rayman and friends. The game was also praised for its graphics, which were cutting edge at the time, its level design, and the funny antics of the characters. Like Tomb Raider: Legends, Rayman Origins is also celebrating its 10th anniversary in November, making it the perfect game for Microsoft to include in November's Xbox Games with Gold roster.
