Xbox has revealed its Games with Gold lineup for December 2017. The lineup includes Telltale’s Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition, Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, Child of Eden, and Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death. As usual, the first two are only available on the Xbox One whereas the latter two are available for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One with an Xbox Live Gold Subscription.

Beginning Dec. 16, Telltale’s Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition will be available whereas Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide will be available for the whole month. This may the first bit of news about Telltale’s Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition since its original episodic release in 2010-2011. Originally released in 2015, Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is the newest game to accompany December’s Games with Gold release.

For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, Child of Eden will be available from December 1st to the 15th whereas Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death will be available for the remainder of the month. The November Games with Gold will continue through early December as Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands will be available through December 15th on Xbox One for Xbox Live subscribers. Trackmania Turbo and Deadfall Adventures will also remain available until the end of November.

It is back to the past for December’s Games with Gold as both Telltale’s Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition and Child of Eden both released in 2011. It is also worth noting that both November and December Games with Gold releases include a Telltale game. Considering the October 2015 Games with Gold included Telltale’s The Walking Dead, it may be possible that Telltale games are becoming a trend with Xbox’s Game with Gold.

With four new games available to download next month in Xbox’s Games with Gold program, gamers may have a varied selection of games to choose from. Although it is from a time before Telltale Games honed in on a winning formula for game development, Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition has some interesting things to offer to fans of the film franchise.

December's Games with Gold will be available Dec. 1 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
