It seems Microsoft has really been rubbing people the wrong way lately. With the recent drop of support for Windows 7 that has forced users of the operating system to finally take the plunge into Windows 10, Microsoft has now moved forward and effectively "gutted," at least according to some fans, the Xbox Game Pass service, with a recent move seeing some of the most popular titles leaving the platform.

The move upset fans who claim that Microsoft is notorious for announcing all the great titles on one hand, while simultaneously removing a slew of popular titles with the other. Subscribers of Xbox Game Pass have gone out of their way to research, list, and share which titles will be leaving the service at any given time, uprooting subscribers' peace of mind that the game they're currently enjoying will still be playable for them tomorrow

However, subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass service are taking full advantage of the "Leaving Soon" tab, which provides some insight as to which titles will leave the platform, but unfortunately in terms that can only be defined as vague. Recently five new titles have found their way to the tab, and are on their way out of the platform.

The games on the Xbox Game Pass that currently listed as "Leaving Soon" include Tom Clancy's The Division, Resident Evil 4, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition, and Saints Row The Third. Each of these titles has a massive following and fan base, and unfortunately due to the vague nature of the term "Soon," fans of each franchise are unsure as to when they will no longer be able to access their game.

However, Microsoft has gone on record claiming that any game put in the "Leaving Soon" section will be removed from the platform within two weeks of their induction. The problem, however, is that its unclear when these games were brought onto the Xbox Game Pass service. As such players are essentially blasting through the content before they're gone.

Though this may come as a critique of Xbox Game Pass, the service still provides near unparalleled access to a slew of the hottest titles in gaming, and at a very affordable price. But the message should also read loudly and clearly to Microsoft: give players more specifics about the titles that will leave the service, so they aren't blindsided when it happens.
