Xbox's announcement concerning its new November 2019 Games with Gold will happen any day now, with many looking forward to what the new free games could be. Of course, some months are better than others, and the October Games with Gold weren't ok. Players were treated to Tembo the Badass Elephant, Friday the 13th, Bolt, and Ninja Gaiden 3. Interest Xbox owners who let it slip their mind this month still have some time to download everything but Bolt before arrives.

When it comes to November's Xbox Games with Gold, any guesswork on the subject is just that: guesswork. If there's a pattern to how Xbox chooses the games it offers, it's not one that is easy to predict or understand. Therefore, this Xbox Games with Gold November 2019 wish list is based on little but what has come before, the fact that it is November, and some games that need some love. Otherwise, it's hard to imagine that all, even any, of these games will make it onto the list next month, but this is just a wish list after all.

The Evil Within/The Evil Within 2 (Xbox One)

Even though Halloween will be over, some form of horror game would still be appreciated. What better time to play a horror game than the spookiest time of the year or shortly thereafter, and since The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2 have never appeared on the Games with Gold list, they're a prime contender and a realistic choice. Neither are as new or as big as the Resident Evil 2 Remake, but they're also rememberable games that will hopefully draw many back for a scare.

In The Evil Within, players take on the role of Sebastian Castellanos when they arrive at a crime scene in Beacon Memorial Hospital. Everything quickly becomes distorted, as Castellanos does battle with various monster and creatures, and ending on an incredibly suspenseful note. The Evil Within 2 sees Sebastian during the fallout of the first game and how his life has changed.

Far Cry Primal (Xbox One)

Ubisoft titles commonly appear on the Games with Gold list, including a majority of the Assassin's Creed games, and Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon have also both appeared in the past, hopefully meaning this is more prediction than wish (even if it doesn't happen in November). Mainline entries, even the older ones, don't seem likely due to their popularity, and of course, New Dawn released too recently. Therefore, it would make sense for the next Far Cry game to be offered on Games with Gold being Far Cry: Primal.

Far Cry Primal players take on the role of Takkar and guide him through struggles with the dangers of 10,000 BC and other tribes as he tries to unify Oros.

Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon (Xbox 360)

destroy all humans crypto and orthopox

Xbox Games with Gold pair two Xbox 360 games with two Xbox 360 games to give away every month, so in choosing 360 games, Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon seems like a good choice. A solid and destructive action-adventure game, choosing Path of the Furon will also do much to build hype for next year's Destroy All Humans remake. It may even help incentivize purchases of the expensive Crypto-137 edition that comes with an alien backpack.

In Path of the Furon, Crypto is pitted against several enemies but ultimately is forced to go against the very emperor of the Furon Empire (voiced by Nolan North).

Need for Speed Most Wanted

The second Xbox 360 game we would like to see is perhaps the longest shot of long shots on this list, as it's Need for Speed: Most Wanted (the 2005 version). In truth, the 2012 version would likely fall on this list before the 2005, but many would agree that the 2005 version can live up to and maybe even compete with contemporary driving games. 2012 has often been more compared to Burnout Paradise than Most Wanted, but it's good in its own right...just not as good as Most Wanted 2005.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a tale of street racers and police, with the player caught between the two. Arriving in Rockport with a custom-painted BMW M3 GTR that ends up being effectively stolen (sabotaged in a Pinks race), the player must take down the Blacklist and seize the streets and their car.
