The Xbox Games with Gold lineup for January 2018 has been revealed. For those gamers with an Xbox Live Gold Subscription, the following titles will be free next month: The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III, Zombi, Tomb Raider: Underworld, and Army of Two.

The first two, as usual, are only available to download on the Xbox One with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III being available for the entire month and Zombi only being available from January 16 to February 18. Tomb Raider: Underworld and Army of Two are available for the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One through Xbox’s Backward Compatibility program, with the former being available for the first half of the month and the latter the second hand of the month. Check out the official announcement:

Interestingly, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing was on the Games with Gold lineup for December 2015. It and its sequel, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II, received mixed reviews for the Xbox One. The game’s success eventually prompted a final cut version of the game; however, expecting the final cut to release as a Game with Gold may be a bit ambitious. Zombi, like its companion, received mixed reviews, so gamers may not wish to expect much out of either title.

It may not be surprising for many gamers to find a Tomb Raider game on this list, considering the late rumors that the next game in the series will be titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  Playing this game may do much for the hype of the upcoming Tomb Raider title. The last game on this list, Army of Two, has been praised for its co-op; however, considering EA closed its multiplayer servers in 2011, gamers will have to enjoy it in local co-op.

With only a few days left to download last month’s Games with Gold, gamers may want to add them to their collection before it’s too late. With next month’s games becoming available soon, Xbox gamers may be starting their New Year with four new games.

January’s Games with Gold will be available Jan. 1 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
