Players who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can now redeem their perks for May 2022. Said perks stretch across several titles and offer players a variety of bonuses as a standard part of Game Pass.
Perks may not be as exciting as day one releases on Game Pass or countless third parties games to choose from, but they have long been a part of the Game Pass package. The perk system has been in place since March 2020, being a great little bonus for players.
The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks for May 2022 are as follows:
- Phantasy Star Online 2 - May Monthly Member Bonus
Players can get a helping hand when starting out in PSO2 with some items. They can grab 5 N-Half Scape Dolls that come in handy for reviving during battle and 50 Photon Chunks to bolster weapons and units.
- For Honor - Warmonger Hero
Players can get their hands on the deadly Warmonger hero, helping them to crush enemies on the battlefield.
- Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2: No-Brainerz Upgrade
This upgrade for Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 adds four fresh characters, four new abilities, four customization sets, four emotes, 200 stars, and even more to help players on their journey.
- Halo Infinite: Pass Tense Gungoose Bundle
Jump into Halo Infinite Season 2: Lone Wolves with the exclusive "Pass Tense" Gungoose vehicle skin, four 2XP boosts, and also four Challenge Swaps.
All of the above perks can be redeemed on both Xbox consoles and on PC through Windows 10. It is also worth remembering that players can still claim Game Pass perks from previous months. While these bonuses alone may not be reason enough for some players to subscribe to Game Pass, they certainly add to an already impressive deal.
Game Pass Ultimate Perks don't just offer players free DLC in video games, Game Pass Perks extend beyond gaming. The most recent example being subscribers getting a month free of Paramount+ in line with the release of the streaming services' Halo adaptation.
The perks for May 2022 will provide players with a helping hand to give them that extra edge in battle. The XP Boosts for example in Halo Infinite will coincide nicely with the beginning on Season 2. The May perks will add to the already exciting news of more games hitting Game Pass on day one, the latest title to get the day one treatment being Trek to Yomi.
