Game Pass continues to be one of the best deals in gaming, allowing subscribers to access a large number of games from the Xbox consoles or PC platform. Not only does this include a rotating set of games, some including major AAA titles like Marvel's Avengers, Outriders, and Back 4 Blood, but Microsoft has also made all Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks titles available on the service the day they launch like Forza Horizon 5 and the upcoming Halo Infinite.

In addition to new games, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also get access to a number of perks like EA Play at no extra cost. Not only does this increase the number of available games by including Electronic Arts franchises like Dragon Age, Battlefield, Fifa, and more, but it also gives players exclusive discounts and deals they wouldn't normally have access to. Ultimate subscribers also recieve monthly perks and free in-game content, which Microsoft has confirmed is expanding to include Halo Infinite.

Alongside the announcement of December's Xbox Game Pass reveals, Microsoft also confirmed that any Ultimate subscriber would also be seeing monthly Halo Infinite multiplayer bundles and bonus content being made available to download. The first one arrives next week on December 8 and includes a new cosmetic skin called Pass Tense for the MA40 Assault Rifle, giving it a Xbox-centric green and black color scheme.

The bundle also comes with 4 2XP boosts, granting 250XP a pop towards the currently active Battle Pass as well as four additional challenge swaps. During this first season that focuses on the Heroes of Reach, players can use these challenge swaps to bypass any weekly challenge they don't want to do, marking it as complete and making a different challenge active in its place. It certainly will help players attempting to unlock the reward given for finishing all challenges during that week.

The date also aligns with the full release of Halo Infinite's campaign, something which can also be accessed by Game Pass subscribers. Anticipation has been riding high since Microsoft revealed how far things have come since it's initial and highly criticised reveal in June 2020. The extra development has seemingly done the game well as character models like the Brute have been improved with more details and the campaign itself has been promised to be the biggest and most open Halo experience yet. Fans got a taste of Zeta Halo's open world a few weeks ago, giving Master Chief plenty of room and vertical space to take down optional objectives as well.

Halo Infinite multiplayer beta is available now, with an official release set for December 8 oc PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
