Microsoft has highlighted the new Xbox Game Pass games coming to the subscription service at the end of January, as well as some of the titles that subscribers can look forward to in February. Since the start of the new year, Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass announcements have veered significantly from their established pattern. Typically, Microsoft wouldn't announce the new Xbox Game Pass games for February until the month actually rolled around, but it's decided to jump the gun and highlight a few of the games coming early next month for some reason.
Microsoft's new Xbox Game Pass games announcement started by highlighting Tango Gameworks' Hi-Fi Rush, a brand-new action game that was surprise-launched for the service on the very same day that it was announced. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can check out Hi-Fi Rush right now. In the meantime, classic first-person shooter game GoldenEye 007 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on January 27, while the early access version of RoboQuest is joining the lineup on January 30.
January 31 is going to be an especially big day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The console version of Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition joins the lineup that day, along with the early access version of Inkulinati. And finally, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R is hitting Game Pass on January 31 as well to close out the month.

As far as February goes, three new additions have been announced, but one will need to be signed up for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier to access all of them. February 2 will see the addition of Darkest Dungeon and the cloud version of Grid Legends, with the latter coming as part of EA Play and therefore requiring an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. And finally, Hot Wheels Unleashed: Game of the Year Edition is coming on February 7. It's unclear if these three games are all that's coming to Game Pass in the first half of February, but subscribers should have a better idea of what to expect come next month.
Previous release date announcements have confirmed another game coming to Game Pass in February 2023, though it wasn't mentioned in Microsoft's roundup. Atomic Heart is joining Game Pass as a day one game come February 21, so subscribers have that to look forward to as well.
