Subscribers to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass are able to play a plethora of games, both old and new, including recent titles like Sea of Thieves by having the service. This summer, members will also be able to win prizes, both in-game and physical items.

The contest, called Xbox Game Pass Quests: Summer Edition, will task subscribers with completing certain objectives by using the service. Completing these will earn smaller prizes, as well as entries into the grand prize. While not all of the smaller, quest-specific prizes have been announced, the grand prize has been revealed to be a special Xbox One X Scorpio Edition that is gold-plated.

The event starts today and will go all summer long, though no specific end date was given. New quests will be added every two weeks and players can track their quest progress. The first one is to play games through the Xbox Game Pass service for 60 minutes for three consecutive days and it ends July 9th. The next quest runs from July 10-16 and tasks players with earning three achievements in The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. Completing these first two quests will unlock Foxbat Brassilisk for the game. The next quest, which has yet to be revealed, will be available for players to complete on July 17th.

New titles were added to the service last month, with The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited being one of them. The other big titles that made their way to Xbox Game Pass in June were Fallout 4 and Tom Clancy's The Division. No word on what titles will be added for the month of July.

While there hasn't been any news for what subscribers can expect this month, Microsoft has let it be known what titles can be expected in the future. Later this year, Halo: Master Chief Collection will be available for users to access. Other Microsoft exclusive titles, like Forza Horizon 4 and Crackdown 3 will be added to Xbox Game Pass when they launch, too. Bearing this pattern in mind, Gears 5 will likely make its way to Xbox Game Pass when it launches as well.
