When Microsoft announced the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, many gamers applauded the company for providing a decent portion of titles to play at its inception for a relatively low cost of $10 per month. Now, the tech company's "Netflix for video games" continues to expand its catalog by adding a handful of solid games to the service this month that include Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and more.

In addition to Star Wars: KOTOR and The Force Unleashed, the Xbox Game Pass has now been updated to also include Alien Hominid HD, Battleblock Theater, Hydro Thunder, Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. Interestingly enough, these titles were quietly included in the subscription service's catalog of games with little to no fanfare from Microsoft after their addition.

For those unaware, the aforementioned games come to Xbox Game Pass shortly after Microsoft announced several additions to the service for June 2018, which will definitely delight subscribers due to the month seeing a beefy update of fresh wares. After all, some were initially disappointed to see June have so few significant or exciting titles, save for the inclusion of Capcom's Mega Man Legacy Collection 2.

All things considered, with such fan-favorites as Star Wars: KOTOR and The Force Unleashed joining the mix in the Xbox Game Pass library, it will be interesting to see what other titles Microsoft will be planning to bring to the service next month. While offering first-party games at launch through the service has definitely been a major incentive for many to sign up and give it a whirl, the company still needs to bolster the new releases with an even more sumptuous offering of tried-and-true hits that will further draw fans into becoming Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
