Xbox Game Pass is so popular that it's about as iconic as the Xbox Series X/S. Regarded as one of the best deals in gaming, Xbox Game Pass offers subscribers a larger, ever-growing library for a low cost. What makes it even better is the focus on getting games at launch, as demonstrated by the release of Outriders and MLB The Show 21.

There has been no sign of it slowing down. Rumors paint a very pretty picture of Xbox Game Pass in fall 2021, while there's enough on the horizon to know some of the big things down the road. Xbox Game Pass makes the argue of its value alone, and it seems like there's no limit to it either.

Xbox Game Pass 2021 Rumors

Battlefield 6 Call Of Duty WW2

Without a doubt, Fall/Holiday 2021 is one of the busiest time periods of the game industry. It's when the biggest titles typically launch, as well as hardware. While, obviously, COVID-19 has impacted video game releases in the fall of 2020 as well as this year, it's already filling in rather well. October has Back 4 Blood, while September has games like Life is Strange, Tales of Arise, and Deathloop. At the same time, there are unconfirmed titles such as Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty likely to launch this holiday season, while confirmed titles like Halo: Infinite have a launch window in the fall.

So many game releases typically mean gamers have to pick and choose, tightening up their pockets in the process. As it stands, though, fans of the service know Halo: Infinite is set to launch on it. From the aforementioned titles, Tales of Arise and Battlefield 6 are rumored to launch on Game Pass; if true, three major games alone are more than enough to be a real game-changer. Beyond that, though, there are rumors that Ubisoft and Game Pass are working out a deal similar to EA and Game Pass, so it's possible if potentially unlikely that new Ubi titles like Far Cry 6—if it releases this year—also grace the service.

Obviously, not everything will release on Game Pass. Resident Evil Village is evidence of that, as well as any PlayStation exclusives and other obvious exclusions. Sill, if even part of the rumors prove to be true, that's a big bonus to Game Pass this year, and that's without mentioning any surprises like Outriders and MLB.

Xbox Game Pass' Anything Goes Launch Approach

It seems Xbox Game Pass can only go up from here. Not only are there rumors, likely titles, probably surprises, and confirmed titles, said confirmed titles are no joke. Everything that is Xbox-console exclusive or from a Microsoft first-party studio can be expected to grace Game Pass. This includes Bethesda titles, as well as those under the Bethesda umbrella, such as The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield. Games like Fable, Avowed, Perfect Dark, Hellblade and more, and these are just a handful. Game Pass will be an umbrella that ensures subscriptions, but also one that ensures fans are always treated to the latest and greatest Xbox titles.

Throwing rumors, likely titles, and more into the mix only proves its value. None of the aforementioned rumors could be true, regardless of how reliable they are, and Xbox Game Pass is set for a big 2021 and an even bigger 2022 and 2023. It's the juggernaut that Microsoft needs, and while not every launch game will come to it, subscribers who check out as many releases as they can may breathe a sigh of relief when it comes to the next few years.
