Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC have been waiting patiently for EA Play to arrive on the platform. EA Play was originally released for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S this past November, granting access to dozens of games and unlocking a variety of bonuses. The patience of PC gamers has now paid off, as Electronic Arts officially launched EA Play on Xbox Game Pass for PC today.

The biggest bonus that's immediately available to all Xbox Game Pass on PC subscribers is access to 60 different games from the EA Play library. These games include recent releases like Star Wars: Squadrons and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, as well as the Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, Dead Space, Jade Empire, and more. There are also franchises like Mass Effect and Dragon Age available, as well as sports titles like Madden and FIFA.

Current subscribers don't have to do anything in order to receive the EA Play bonus in their account. EA Play will be automatically unlocked within Game Pass subscribers' accounts. However, there is an extra layer to the process compared to normal game installation. Game Pass users can find EA Play games like normal in the Xbox app, but if they try to install them they'll be prompted to install the EA App as well. After logging into the EA App, the game will install as normal and even show up in Xbox app.

The EA Play bonus of 10-hour game trials for specific games will also be available from the Xbox app. Users just have to scroll down to the EA Play section of the app and click "See Games" to find them. These will also require installation of the EA App and an EA account.

All of the other EA Play bonuses that come with a subscription will be included for Xbox Game Pass on PC subscribers. That includes the 10 percent discount on EA games, though they'll need to be purchased from the EA app and not from the Microsoft store.

The important thing to note is that Xbox Game Pass on PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers just received an additional 60 games to play. They may take a little extra work to access, but for no additional charge it's a great deal. With EA Play, the recent 20 games added from Bethesda, and a full month of other games being added, this may be the best month of Xbox Game Pass on PC yet.
