Xbox Game Pass has had a massive year, with a constantly expanding library that continues to draw players in with games big and small. Featuring games such as Hades, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, almost the entirety of Bethesda Softworks' library of published games, and more, Xbox Game Pass has grown to be one of the best deals in gaming.

The subscription service has become a go-to for players looking to discover new games, whether they be indies or AAA games that slipped under their radar. Every month it seems Xbox seals the deal to get at least one more notable game secured on the service, and this month is already shaping to be a big one with Forza Horizon 5, It Takes Two, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas: The Definitive Edition on their way to the platform.

Now, Xbox Game Pass' Twitter account has teased something orange coming later this week, prompting many players to believe that The Orange Box is on its way to Game Pass. The Orange Box is a bundle that features Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. Featuring some of the best first-person shooters ever made, the bundle would be a perfect match for Xbox's premiere subscription service platform.

Much has been made of Xbox Game Pass' ability to allow players to discover games they otherwise might not have, and The Orange Box features so many games that younger gamers and others may discover for the first time. Half-Life 2 is often credited with widening people's expectations for storytelling in first-person shooters, and Portal features some of the best puzzles in gaming. Of course, there is no guarantee that the tweet was really referring to The Orange Box.

Still, it is unclear what else they could be talking about if they are not referring to The Orange Box. Sunset Overdrive, a game that features a ton of orange, is already on Game Pass as it was made by a first party studio (at the time), and there are not many other games that feature the color orange prominently either in their title or their gameplay.

A longshot, but it could also mean that Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl is on its way to the service, as Nickelodeon is associated with the color orange. At this point, there is no exact answer for what the new addition might be, but it will be revealed soon enough.
