Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service has been on a roll lately, adding the likes of Psychonauts 2 this past August to rave reviews and consistently gaining new day one titles. November 2021 is set up to be one of the biggest months for Xbox Game Pass for the entire year, as numerous day one games and big releases are coming to the service. However, next week in particular may very well turn out to be the most significant for Xbox Game Pass in all of November.

The Xbox Game Pass subscription service has already added some new games for November 2021, with Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Edition releasing for Game Pass on PC and Unpacking coming to Game Pass across PC, console, and Cloud. November 4 will see Kill It With Fire come to Xbox Game Pass, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is getting critically-acclaimed co-op game It Takes Two thanks to the partnership with EA.

Next week, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have two key days that they need to pay attention to. First is November 9, which will see two day one games come to Xbox Game Pass. Football Manager 2022 and its Xbox Edition console version will be available on day one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers that day, as will the highly-anticipated open world racing game Forza Horizon 5, which stands as one of the biggest Xbox-published releases of the entire year.

There's a great deal of hype behind Forza Horizon 5, and for good reason. The latest game in the long-running Forza Horizon series, Forza Horizon 5 will feature the typical open world racing that fans have come to expect with a ton of content that should keep players busy for hours on end. Forza Horizon 5 gameplay videos and trailers have been incredibly impressive so far, and the ability to play it on day one through Xbox Game Pass is huge.

The other day next week that Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be looking forward to is Thursday, November 11. On that day, day one game One Step from Eden will join the Xbox Game Pass lineup, and it will be joined by two mammoth releases in the form of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition, both of which could be counted as day one Xbox Game Pass games as well.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition is the remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas that's coming as part of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition collection. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas at no additional charge, though if they're interested in playing Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as well, they'll need to put up the cash for the entire collection.

November 11 is also notable for the launch of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition marks the legendary game's debut on next-generation consoles, and it's coming with some bonus content through the Creation Club. One of the most notable additions to this new version of Skyrim is the fishing mechanic, which will even have its own questline tied to it. It was teased in a Skyrim - Anniversary Edition trailer that this quest may even lead to an encounter with some kind of large fish or sea creature, so it will definitely be interesting to see what happens when it comes to Xbox Game Pass next week.

And that's just next week for Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a ton of other new games to look forward to for the rest of the year, with Evil Genius 2: World Domination making its way to Game Pass on console on November 30, and Halo Infinite right around the corner on December 8. Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service has certainly had a banner year, and it looks like it will be carrying that momentum all the way through to 2022.
