Xbox Game Pass is adding plenty of new games throughout the month of November. And in fact, Xbox Game Pass has already added some notable games to the service, like the popular indie game Unpacking and, for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, the critically-acclaimed co-op game It Takes Two.

Xbox Game Pass has a big week next week as well, with multiple new games scheduled to drop for Microsoft's game subscription service. This includes 2021's highest-rated game, Forza Horizon 5, as well as Football Manager 2022, which has also been well-received by critics.

But out of all the days next week, November 11 seems like it should be an especially exciting one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and there are three reasons why that is.

New Xbox Game Pass Game Releases on November 11

  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition
  • One Step from Eden
  • The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Special Edition (Xbox Series X version)

November 11 will see the addition of three games to Microsoft's Xbox Game pass service. The headliner is arguably Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition, which is one-third of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. This remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas includes revamped graphics to better-match modern standards, plus a Grand Theft Auto 5-style control scheme to make it more accessible.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is easily the largest PS2-era Grand Theft Auto game, and so even though Game Pass subscribers will have to pay extra if they want to play Grand Theft Auto 3 or Vice City, San Andreas should keep them plenty busy. But while Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition by itself would likely be enough to make Xbox Game Pass subscribers excited for Thursday, November 11, there are other reasons for them to look forward to that day as well.

One Step from Eden is a day one Xbox Game Pass game also coming on November 11. Previously made available on PC and Nintendo Swithch, One Step from Eden is a roguelike deck-building game that earned mostly positive reviews at the time of its release. In fact, One Step from Eden even won some awards, and so Xbox Game Pass subscribers are definitely in for a treat when it's added on November 11.

The third day one game coming to Xbox Game Pass on November 11 is technically a new version of a game that's already available on the service. November 11 will see Bethesda upgrade the The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Special Edition from its Xbox One version to the native Xbox Series X version, which should result in a generally improved experience. Not only that, but there will be some extra content for Skyrim players to look forward to as well.

For some bizarre reason, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition is not coming to Xbox Game Pass, but some of its most notable content is coming to Skyrim - Special Edition on Game Pass. This includes Skyrim's new fishing feature, which will be available to all players thanks to a free update.
