The latest Xbox Game Pass Ultimate update has added the Cloud versions of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 to the service. These two Dead Space games have technically been added to EA Play, but the entire EA Play library is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. In fact, access to the EA Play library of games is one of the main perks of being signed up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in the first place.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate not only lets players access the EA Play library of games, but it also comes with Xbox Live Gold benefits, all the vanilla and PC Game Pass games, and various other perks. Just recently, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gave away the popular horror movie Evil Dead 2 for free, so the service has proven to be quite lucrative for fans of the horror genre as of late.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now play the Cloud versions of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 with their subscriptions. The downloadable versions of the Dead Space games have been available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play for some time, but now gamers have even more options when it comes to playing the games. Dead Space 2 may especially be of interest to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, as it's considered by some fans to be the best game in its franchise.

Dead Space 2 picks up where the original Dead Space left off, expanding on the original's unique sci-fi survival-horror action. Considering Dead Space 2's popularity with franchise fans, it's no wonder many are calling on EA Motive to make a remake of it in a similar vein as the remake for the original Dead Space game that released this past January.
Dead Space 3, on the other hand, was not nearly as well-received as the other games in the series. Dead Space 3 lessened the franchise's focus on horror to take a more action-oriented approach and controversially added microtransactions to the mix as well. There are those who enjoyed playing through Dead Space 3 in co-op, though, so the addition of the Cloud version to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate should give more gamers the chance to try out that feature at least.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers who are uninterested in the Cloud versions of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 have more to look forward to in the very near future. The console version of Valheim will join Game Pass on March 14, whereas Civilization 6 is coming March 16 and Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom - The Prince's Edition joins the lineup on March 21.
