While Microsoft may not fully reveal the new Xbox Game Pass games coming in the second half of May 2022 until early next week, other announcements have still given fans a good idea of what to expect. Prior announcements have let fans know of five new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of May 2022, and now that number can be increased to six, as yet another game has been confirmed for the service.
As spotted by 1978iamdesign on Twitter and reported by Pure Xbox, Xbox's Korea Facebook page has confirmed that Little Witch in the Woods is coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on Tuesday, May 17. Little Witch in the Woods will be a day one Xbox Game Pass game when it comes to the service, and it will be available to play in early access through the Xbox Game Preview program.
For those unfamiliar with Little Witch in the Woods, the game is about a witch named Ellie, and it will allow players to live the daily life of a witch in a mystical forest. The full version of the game is expected to release at some point in 2023, so Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to playing more of it next year if they enjoy the Xbox Game Preview version that's coming next week.
Little Witch in the Woods isn't the only new Xbox Game Pass game confirmed for May 17. It's also been announced that futuristic photography game Umurangi Generation Special Edition is hitting Game Pass on May 17. While it's previously been available on other platforms, May 17 marks the first time that Umurangi Generation Special Edition is going to be available on Xbox consoles, so it can arguably be considered a day one release as well.
Later in the month, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also look forward to Floppy Knights, Hardspace Shipbreaker, Sniper Elite 5, and Pac-Man Museum+. The full list of new Xbox Game Pass games for the second half of May 2022 will likely be revealed early next week.
