Earlier today, Microsoft announced a host of new games making the jump to Xbox Game Pass later this month. The list included the likes of Dirt 5, Wreckfest, Pillars of Eternity 2, and Elite Dangerous, while also announcing that Code Vein and Superhot: Mind Control Delete would be making the leap to the PC version of Game Pass.

However, as has often been the case, Microsoft is getting ready to remove some games to make room for its batch of new offerings, with 6 titles leaving the service before the end of the month. On February 24, Dirt 4 will be removed, while February 28 will see The Jackbox Party Pack 4, Vambrace: Cold Soul, Oxenfree, Mother Russia Bleeds, and Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight also depart from the service.

While the departure of Dirt 4 from Game Pass would ordinarily be a bitter sting for fans, the game's sequel, Dirt 5, arrives just a day later on February 25. The game is the fourth iteration of Codemasters' off-road racing franchise, with players traveling to the likes of Australia, Spain, Wales, and Sweden. Those wanting to test it out before it's replaced by its newer successor have just over a week to do so.

Meanwhile, Oxenfree is an acclaimed story-focused indie gem that centers around a group of teenagers who become embroiled in a supernatural mystery. It's short, clocking in at around 5 hours, so those wanting to experience it will definitely have time before its departure on February 28. Jackbox Party Pack 4, on the other hand, is a bundle of fun party experiences that players can enjoy with friends. The series has become widely regarded for its hilarious range of fun games and ability to get multiple players involved through a mobile device regardless of whether or not they own the title.

As for Mother Russia Bleeds, the game is a retro beat em' up, seeing players fight in a brutal, alternate history Russia. As admitted by the developers, it aims to be a mix of Streets of Rage and Hotline Miami, and is another title that has a short runtime, clocking in at around 4 - 5 hours. Alternatively, Vambrace: Cold Soul is a roguelike fantasy adventure that sees players take a team of heroes from their underground homeworld to the surface, battling enemies and acquiring powers as they go. Finally, there's Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, which is the fourth entry in the Metroidvania series and centers around players adventuring through a cursed world as they acquire equipment and battle tough foes.
