Xbox Game Pass continues to change the game industry through what it offers. Big games are confirmed for July and it's unlikely the flow of quality titles will slow soon.

However, on the flip side of things, there's the unfortunate truth that every now and then, games leave Xbox Game Pass with no return in sight. Such is the case now, with several games leaving the platform on June 30th. Players still have some time to experience these and can purchase them with a 20% membership discount if they wish to keep them in their gaming library.

Perhaps the most prominent game leaving Xbox Game Pass this month is Monster Hunter World. Adored by fans of the series and providing a gateway into the Monster Hunter series for many first time players, World takes the established formula and builds on it through larger environments. For anyone who doesn't want to purchase the game, this is the last chance to hunt the most dangerous monsters of the Ancient Forest. Similarly, this is players' last chance to experience the RPG Mistover and its gorgeous art style on Xbox Game Pass before it's gone.

Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite is among the games leaving at the end of the month. For many this may seem like a no brainer, as initial reception of the title was poor and it has no EVO presence. However, dedicated players recently dove back into Infinite in an attempt to revive and refine its fighting game community, so players may want to give it another look. For players more interested in platformers, The Messenger is leaving, and anyone who has not yet tried it is encouraged to do so.

Other titles leaving Game Pass include Battle Chasers: NightwarOut of the Park Baseball 21Soulcalibur 6 and Outer Wilds. The last took many players and critics by storm, winning a BAFTA award for its sci-fi world and story. What's more, Outer Wilds DLC leaked a while ago, so players should see if it's the right kind of weird for them before its gone.

It's sad to see these games depart, but many other engaging titles are coming to Game Pass in the future. Those looking for action are encouraged to check out Hades which was announced for Xbox Game Pass at E3. And again, there are still seven days before the above titles leave Xbox Game Pass, so players have a chance to decide if they're worth a permanent purchase.
