Microsoft goes to great lengths to ensure that there are constantly new games added to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Every month, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can count on more games being added to the service than getting removed, but it's still disappointing whenever titles are given the boot. As of March 1, Xbox Game Pass has lost another five games.

On February 28, Xbox Game Pass subscribers lost access to four of the five games in the form of Hypnospace Outlaw, Killer Queen Black, Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones, and Touhou Luna Nights. All four of these games were available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers across PC and consoles, while Hypnospace Outlaw and Touhou Luna Nights also supported cloud gaming.

And as of March 1, Xbox Game Pass is losing Titanfall. Titanfall is available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers through its integration with EA Play, available to those who pay for the slightly more expensive Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier. Titanfall is a more high profile game than the other recently removed Xbox Game Pass titles, and was in fact one of the main games that Microsoft used to promote its Xbox One console back in the day.

Titanfall being removed from Xbox Game Pass has been known about for quite some time, and it is happening in conjunction with the game being de-listed from digital storefronts. This is a disappointing development for Titanfall fans, but the bright side is that anyone that already owns the game can continue to play it. EA and Respawn have said that the Titanfall multiplayer servers will stay online even though the game has been de-listed and is being removed from subscription services like EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

On the bright side, there are new Xbox Game Pass games for subscribers to play. On March 1, Xbox Game Pass added two new games in the form of FAR: Changing Tides and the cloud version of Microsoft Flight Simulator. Looking ahead, there are many other new Xbox Game Pass games for subscribers to look forward to this month. In fact, there are six day one Xbox Game Pass games confirmed for March 2022 at the time of this writing, including highly-anticipated games like the console version of Crusader Kings 3 and Weird West, with the distinct possibility that there will be even more revealed a bit later on.
